Like their parent club, the Beloit Snappers played extra innings Monday. Unlike the Twins, however, the Snappers actually managed to get some hits with runners in scoring position and thus avoided getting swept out of Cedar Rapids with a 5-4 win over the Kernels. Thunderstorms during the morning threatened to hold the Snappers "getaway", but the two teams got started on time and completed their 10-inning game in just under 3 hours.

North Dakota Twins Fan: Nathan's heeding the advice of Santana
The Twins have ever establish a way to get creative with their advertising campaigns. A pair of seasons ago the Twins ran the above advertisement that featured current Twins player Joe Nathan and former Twins player Johan Santana. In the video Nathan is getting sick from the way that Santana is driving. Santana is driving the way that he pitched in games for the Twins.
