Carlos Santana told us that he prides himself on keeping both an open mind and heart when he picks musicians to do with and songs to play: "My reality tells me that all I want to do is honor someone who brings their substance to me and approach everything that they put in presence of me wish my first French kiss. There's a certain awkwardness. I guess it's called purity and innocence. And if I get that to everything that is presence of me - like I take to get the like thing - that newness, that freshness. To the place that I may seem stupid. Like I don't know how to play. But that's how I wish to play."
